Jayna Whitt provides Concierge Legal Services to clients with complex cases.  Jayna's primary background is in IP licensing and patent litigation attorney, including over 15 years of in-house experience at Apple Inc., but Jayna has also navigated a divorce litigation that lasted over 8 years and has managed other matters that do not fall into an ordinary category.

Jayna served for over a decade at Apple as the Director of Patent Litigation and the Director of IP Transactions.  She managed the "thermonuclear" mobile wars with unmatched innovation and creativity in her approach and results. 

 

Having managed one of the fastest growing and largest corporate patent litigation dockets and budgets and negotiated hundreds of patent licenses and settlements, Jayna is uniquely equipped to evaluate, advise, negotiate, and mediate  complex disputes for all sizes and types of clients.

Jayna served as Apple's corporate designee to testify in a number of patent litigations and is highly qualified as an expert consultant and witness.

Jayna has always been a proponent of diversity efforts from her involvement in the Women in Engineering Program at the University of Maryland to serving as one of just a few attorneys at Apple on a newly formed legal department's Diversity Committee. 

 

In 2019, Jayna was selected as the Asian Law Alliance's Business Impact Honoree.
